Shooting Interrupts High School Game | Jacksonville News

A shooting erupted near the Legends Center during a high school football game, leaving a 19-year-old woman with a leg wound and a 20-year-old man shot in the shoulder—both stable. The incident stemmed from a dispute between unrelated spectators, not gang-related, with police finding shell casings and now searching for two suspects in their late teens to early twenties. Witnesses are being interviewed as detectives work to piece together how tensions escalated into gunfire, while the community grapples with the disruption of a peaceful event.
