Shooting the rapids

Shooting rapids involves canoeing in rapidly flowing water, often contending with rocks and even waterfalls. This sporting activity can be scary and precarious, especially if we are not experienced and skilled. In the right hands we will reach our destination in good time and safely. This is what it is like in our lives if we allow God to be at the helm so to speak. I believe that the specific Word (rhema) for us is in Romans 8:31: "If God be for us, who can be against us". In other words, with God on our side, no one can overpower us.
