Shoring Up the Defences

Hostile ideas can pressure Christians to drift from what God says. Paul tells Timothy to strengthen the church by pointing to God’s good creation, training for godliness, and staying devoted to Scripture rather than chasing foolish myths. Hope rests in the living God. Families put this into practice by making regular time to read the Bible, discuss its meaning and application, and pray with praise, confession and requests.
