Short-Term Regulations in CB Presented, Concerns Expressed

Crested Butte Town Planner Michael Yerman presented the short-term rental ordinance and regulations at a public meeting this past Tuesday night. Licensing, how to lose a license, inspections, and a cap on how many licenses are allowed were all part of the presentation. Citizens expressed concerns over the non-transferability of a license, and how the non-transferability will impact bookings for homes under contract that may be unable to honor those bookings without a license.
