Shorts in the winter. Break-up day. Hypothetical Thursday. The return of Office Cora!

from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

Not terrible today. Might see some more flurries tomorrow morning, then the really cold weather batters the area with high temps in the single digits. We kicked things off with a holiday version of the Thursday Song and discussed our favorite apps for "National App Day". Plus, a list of the most downloaded apps of 2025! In sports, the Badgers got thrashed by Nebraska last night, the Bucks are at home against the Celtics tonight, and Week 15 in the NFL kicks off tonight with Thursday Night Football. Wild story dropping yesterday afternoon as Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore gets fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member and then gets arrested for alleged assault! We talked about what's on TV today/tonight, and we also discussed a new documentary coming out from HBOMAX that discusses how music for kids became extremely popular while being hated by adults. It's not only "National App Day", but it's also Hypothetical Thursday. And Brian started with his question for Jean: " " Jean asked Brian: " " We also talked to Office Cora today about her holiday bus trip to Nashville and what she's up to in this weekend in the 715. Elsewhere in sports, Pete Alonso signs with the Orioles, the Brewers are named the MLB Organization of the Year for the fifth time, and a new food item is making it's debut at the Citrus Bowl. Check out where Wisconsin ranked on a new list of the most dangerous states to be in during the holidays! Apparently, some people on the internet are shocked to find out that lots of men wear shorts year-round. And today is also the most popular day of the year to break up with someone. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a woman in Dallas who set a house on fire & then stabbed the fire hoses that the firefighters were using to battle the flames, three self-driving Waymo cars mucked up traffic by getting into an accident with each other, someone in New Hampshire had their Christmas inflatables shot at, a guy in Louisiana was shot in the legs by his wife's boyfriend who then ran off with the woman, and a BMW thief claimed that he teleported into the vehicle!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
