Jaime Morales is our guest. He is a Special Deputy with the Scott County Kentucky Sheriff's Department. As a Deputy he was assigned to the County's Special Response Team (SWAT). During an assignment to take a serial bank robber into custody a gunfight erupted. Deputy Morales was shot by an unlikely source, he states it was from another law enforcement officer on the team. His life and death injuries caused permanent paralysis and he is confined to a wheelchair. Jaime talks about the preventable incident, his devastating injuries and inspiring life after.
