Shot At 14 During Father's Murder: Leigh Alliss

In the summer of 1990 Tony Alliss was shot and killed on his land, in a case that was supposedly self-defence, despite an unlicensed shotgun being used on an unarmed man. 20 minutes later Leigh Alliss, Tony's son, was shot in what the defendants claimed was an accidental discharge, even though the shotgun in question was still warm from his father's killing, would need to have been reloaded, and the position of the gun would have made hitting Leigh all but impossible. Regardless of such glaring discrepancies, the case was overturned, and a subsequent civil trial ended the same way, with the details of the crime never being put in front of a jury. Leigh tells the story of that fateful day, where his life went from there, and his continued efforts to seek justice for what he believes is a cover up.
