Es co-dueño de House of Blues, cadena de teatros en los Estados Unidos de América, en los que permanentemente se ofrece espectáculos musicales de diversa índole, no solamente blues. Además, posee un local donde aparte de servir comidas, tocan bandas de blues, y algunas veces aparece el propio Dan para tocar.
