Shotguns & More

In this episode of the Live Fire Media Show we dive into 90s action classic Desperado, the famous bar shootout, and a fun “what if” — what happens if the guy with the rocket-launcher case pulls out a China Lake instead? Hunter even shares his visit to the real bar from the Cheech Marin shootout scene. We also cover big questions in the firearms world: Is the NFA for suppressors finally going away? Death and taxes… and maybe fewer tax stamps? Plus the disturbing Charlotte case of a man attacking women while live-streaming it — and why our systems are failing. Quick takes; The Purge movies should have been better, is a 20-gauge is actually solid for home defense with modern loads, why there still aren’t more tactical 20-gauge shotguns, mini-shells may be an answer, and the best mag-fed AR-style shotguns (Genesis 12 is great… if your wallet can handle it). Finally, the eternal debate: carry inexpensive guns that just work, or run the higher-end gear you’re truly proficient with? Hunter’s take and the bottom line — run what you’re actually comfortable and competent with. If you like firearms discussion, movie talk, current events, and practical gear advice, this one’s for you.
