In light of the Barbie movie, and the epic FIFA Women’s World Cup we have prepared a Feminism 101 episode for you. This is for everyone, whether you are new to the concept of feminism or if it is something that you are really passionate about. We cover everything from recent statistics to sexual harassment in Australia. It is a candid, interesting, and important conversation. We hope you’ve loved our first season as much as we have loved making it for you and we can’t wait to be back in your ears on the 9th of October 2023. Bread and Better is hosted by Tegan Padget a qualified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, chef, and owner of the online lifestyle coaching business called Fitty Tegs, and Alex Whittington a freelance feature writer, producer, the owner of Hey Al! Productions, and a mum of three. We aim to not only discuss the issues that affect us as women - but also how the issues we deal with, and how we respond, can affect those we influence - our kids, our nephews and nieces, our siblings, our cousins, our godchildren, our best friend's kids. We are committed to opening a dialogue where we explore generational patterns in the health, movement and mindset space, and make real change.Follow us on Instagram @breadandbetterpodcastCreditsHosts: Tegan Padget and Alex WhittingtonProducer: Alex WhittingtonOriginal Concept: Tegan PadgetAudio Production: Alex WhittingtonShow Notes: Julia Gillard Misogyny Speech - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCNuPcf8L00Wallaroos Unite to Demand Fair Treatment From Rugby Australia - https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-08-21/wallaroos-unite-to-demand-fair-treatment-from-rugby-australia/102755238Sport Alliance and the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA) GENDER EQUALITY IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY 2022 - https://www.bodylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Sport-Alliance_WIFA_Umfrageergebnisse.pdfAustralian Government Status of Women Report Card 2023 - https://www.pmc.gov.au/resources/status-women-report-card-2023 Hosted on Acast.
