Should I get a flu vaccination before Comrades?

On this edition of the Ask Coach Parry podcast we’ve got a great question in from Judith Simon. We mentioned yesterday about keeping your hands clean and that sort of thing, I’ve just got back from the Old Mutual joBerg2c and I was amazed to see how much hand sanitiser was around that event. But obviously people just really, really being particular about keeping their hands clean and avoiding germs as much as possible, but Judith wanted to know, is it advisable getting a flu vaccine now in the build up to Comrades?
