Should John Take Down His Lights?

John’s girlfriend wants to keep these lights up on their porch all year. They have an issue with packages being left at the wrong house and her hope is that it will be something they can point delivery drivers to. John thinks because they were originally Christmas lights it will make them look like that lazy house that won’t take their decorations down after the holidays. Is he right? Should he take them down or leave them up?
