This is the Playstation Sports Experience Gala dashboard. I'm your host, Kevin P. And joining me on the show, we have Shelton, Fifo and Spike. What up?
What up? What up you up to? What do I do? Chill in, chill in, chill in.
All right, we have a bit to get to today. Let's see, where are we going to start? Are we going to football? No, no college stuff on here.
You've got some stuff happening in college, you know? But I don't see any college stuff on here. But, um, yeah, it was interesting week last week, but that's not what we're here for. We got a we got to talk about some pics.
We got to talk about the guy. Hey, look, he ain't been looking good. Uh, a lot's coming out now about him, but when he what you guys think, uh, an extension of what we discussed the bit in the, in the group test this morning, um, the new England Patriots defeated the Chicago Bears on the road 19 to three in a match up that featured the number one overall pick against the number three overall pick. It was black versus white all over again.
Oh, man. Is it straight? We're going to go. Just.
We claimed the folks saying came commolo. So, uh, that's true. But, uh, but yeah, it is. But yeah, yeah.
So, and, uh, and much like the election to go, to wait, that folks would have preferred to go at least on folks. Um, but yeah, man, it's Drake may really that much better than Caleb or did people over rate the situation Caleb was going into it. Let me give you just a little bit here. Um, it's been 23 offensive drives since the Bears have scored touchdown.
The Bears have also only scored 27 total points in their last three games. Bob, which is probably what led to the Bears. OZ Shane Waldron being fired two day. Well, that's just a precursor to the head coach, me and fire, because we've been talking about Matt Ibur from now, but the last two, three seasons and how we've met the offense is to put the blame on solely on the OC.
This was just a process of elimination and something that was going to happen. Ken, I don't think Caleb is overrated. I think Caleb is, is solid because we've seen the flashes. We just haven't seen them put together game by game.
And that's what makes young quarterbacks. Um, but we know definitively that they are a franchise guy. I think Caleb still has all of the natural talent, but he definitely has to work on his craft, but I said it a week ago in our group text where I said, I think Jake may might be nice because we know that he's working with a limited inventory out there when we talk about weapons, but he's making the right decisions. So what that tells me is that foundationally, the coaching is good.
You know what I'm saying? Cause you're doing what you're supposed to do. And I feel that, you know, we've been talking about coaching with the Bears for a very long time, the roster on paper. It looks good.
Ken, multiple weapons, you know, saying, I'm not saying that the O line is the greatest, you know, probably one of the worst in the league, but you have a mobile quarterback that you should be able to overcome that. You have the weapons, not only on the outside, but in the back building and the trenches with the tight end. I can't think of his name, but I always mention him in the defense of solid. So what that tells me is that the foundation of the coaching is not there.
We go look at Jamie Daniels now with the commanders, right? Um, he's balling, bruh. And I'm not saying that it doesn't have anything to do with him. It has everything to do with his skillset, but that coaching staff is putting his skillset first and foremost in designing some layups and some gimmies.
So that way, when they take the big shot or what he takes off to run, their big place can Chicago has not set up Caleb Williams to be successful from a coaching perspective. I think we call for Ibra Fus last season and we said, you know, how much difference is it going to look even with a new quarterback? And it doesn't. So again, it's just powerful.
Of course, Ken. Ibra Fus does not make it past this season. And if he does, they're just running Caleb's career. Oh, I was, I was just going to say at this point, I think it's more about Caleb being a little overrated for now.
And that's just a for now statement. I think that, like I said in the group chat, a lot of these quarterbacks are expected to come in and have an instance of success. You expect that from a number one pick when in all that, the reality, the goal should be to reach the highest standard, the highest point, not necessarily the fastest to the point, but the highest point in his career. And I think that he will, you know, overall, if given the opportunity and if coaching, we are correct in the assessment of the coaching part of this thing.
Um, with the right coaching pieces around him, he can't be successful. He has the tools to be successful. It's just a matter of being put in the right position. We saw a lot of those plays that he ran and have been running this year.
They're taking a long time to develop. They need to figure out a way to get the ball out of his hands quicker. He's one, he's holding it too long, but two of those plays that just taking too long to develop. And when you put a quarterback in that type of position, especially a young one, even though they can process pretty quick, their reaction time is nowhere near as fast.
We talk about it all the time that defense is lightning fast and they're getting through that line. He's getting a lot of pressure early, but when that pursuit comes on, there's nothing he can do. It's pretty much over for him at that point. And it looks really, really bad right now.
And that comes from coach and it's designing plays that are quick hitting, getting the ball out of his hands. If this nicking duck, let it be digging up, let those receivers, you got DJ Moore, Roman, Ducey, Keenan Allen, those guys, let them work the ball down the field, using their net, give, you got swift out of back field, you can dump the ball off to use your tight end code, commit, use those pieces and let them do the work. You know, runs out. I'm going to give you a prime example, right?
The Lions came back against the Texans and there was a play. I want to say, we see the third or fourth corner. They were in the red zone, the Lions were and it looked like it was about to be a stretch play all the way to the left. And what did Jared golf do?
And we came out and the quarter ran like a, like a skinny corner and got it right over. Why? Because the whole defense flow that that was a gimme, we're in type of plays, especially if you know you have a battle line that defensive line and those linebackers are going to be super aggressive to try to go get their sacks, use that against them. And that's what I'm talking about, the gimmees, like that coaching staff isn't given kelab enough gimmees, like using the defenses aggressiveness against them, like, like, come on, man, give them some easy joints.
Yeah. And that's, that's what's missing. He does not have that. So it's a lot of pressure on that rookie to get stuff done.
And, you know, yeah, he's the number one, but he ain't the Joe Burrow no more. And he can't see Jay Strath no more. He's not even Jay Daniels pick right now. And I don't think that goes.
He was saying he was generational talent. He is still he's still competing. I'm not saying I'm saying to start. He's clear.
Like I said, right. I think different than where you start. I think he's arguably as talented as Jay Daniels as talented as he's a strive, but I'll take it a step further up the letter that you guys want to coaching. The Bears are a shit organization.
Like they they have proved time and time again. They did it three times. When Mr. Vicky, I said that he was good or going to be good.
They brought him in with a lame duck head coach to coach was fired the next year. Now he got now the quarterback is two years behind and you see what happened with Travis. They did the same thing with Justin Fields. They brought him in and fired the coach the next year.
Now they're about to do this for the third time in a role because they're going to fire their coach next year and put Williams behind the eight bar. The Bears are a really shit organization. Like y'all said, he reflues should have been fired last year. There's no reason he should have this job.
Like he shouldn't be on the sidelines. He shouldn't have been given the keys to this Ferrari, especially knowing the Bears history and how they've been with quarterback. They should have been very careful with what they surrounded him with. They did a great job on the field.
They have the weapons like you said, and if he felt like they have the people around him, he has the opportunity to be good, but he's not being coached up like he needs to. An example I'll give, we see Justin Fields. I still don't think he's good, but we see what happened when he was at a good organization. He was at least able to go out and win football games because he was around about people like Mike Tomlin, his staff, they put him in the best position.
Same thing with the Mico Ryan's and C.J. Shroud. We hear the Mico Ryan's is the head coach that you want. Same thing we will mail is kind of a different story, but they've been grooming him to be a head coach as far as Bob Kreff said, but eight years.
So they've been able to build that stuff up and put people around him that are going to be good. Same thing with Washington. When they knew they were getting dang, it was like a whole new staff in it. But what they did, it kind of just unjust.
They said like he shouldn't be in this position. I did watch the game. He was holding the bottle a little too long, but I think those are things that come with coaching that come with skiing as your Sam Fifo. And he's just not being put in a position to win.
I don't know why I thought you bitch him. You should mention if you're scared, he's going to get hurt if I was ownership. I would want him, I would still want him out there getting the experience. My biggest fear would be Ibra Flus continuing to ruin him even more.
But I don't think he's playing that bad. He's not doing what a show boy was doing in Carolina. He's not doing what Richard's doing in Indianapolis. Like he's not bad.
It can be fixed if he was with the good skin. It's like, you know, part of the reason why quarterbacks hold the rock, the way that they do number one, it can be that they're a maker. You know, it's not even that. It's not that he don't know the offense.
You don't trust the offense. OK, there's no trust between him, the OC and the head coach for Lee, what you see. He's though he doesn't believe what he sees. You don't believe what he sees.
You don't believe in a play call. He's like, I know he's supposed to be here, but now I know that there's a there's a lot of things that can be said. But I know that one of the few things is you hold on to the rock, you don't trust what you see and you don't trust. There's no trust between you and that and the coaching staff.
And I don't disagree with you. Spike, we've been talking about the Bears organization now for a couple of years. And they're not a good, right? Organization.
And this is just further evidence of that. Yeah, you know, I think the GM has done an amazing job of getting talent in that building because it's not like the Bears are bad because of the void of talent. Now, I think in years past, we could have questioned how much outside talent was there, right? Like, I, why receiving stuff like that.
Um, but this is not that even on the defensive side. Like I'm not saying that they're world beaters, but they are a top 15 top 17 defense. Like they're better than average. So to me, I can't even blame the GM.
If I'm the owner, I'm like a bit of the GM because I like the moves that we have made. I like the position from a person. Now, standpoint that we're at this coaching situation, they have to get it right. They have because here, here, here's the thing.
We already lost one year of Caleb, right? If you don't get it right with the second coach, Caleb's careers trajectory may never reach maximum potential, right? Because we're seeing in the Trevor Lawrence. Yeah.
We're seeing it with Trevor Lawrence right now saying that he was a world beater, but you know, people were talking about he was generational, prototypical size, arm strength, all of that type of stuff. You know, what was his name from Ohio State? Um, uh, you know, I'm bad with names. Uh, Urban Meyer came in here was a freaking freak show.
Then they brought the, the, the pentagrams, where we thought, you know, that was going to be slightly better. And we're seeing now that it's like, okay, well, maybe a little bit, but it's not the right hire. And now, you know, they've already paid them what is, what is Trevor going to be? I think we can't get to that point with Caleb.
We can have that question. And that's the point too. When you, when you get to the point where you're not figuring out these people before it's time to get a payday, you still got to pay them. In those cases, they're going to pay them because they don't want to lose these guys.
Um, this big, a microcosm in this game that we can take a look at too, because we saw the Patriots, you know, Patriots, since we talked about Drake, may, and Caleb Williams, uh, Patriots ran the ball 35 times, uh, and passed the point five. Uh, the Bears ran the ball 20 times and passed the 35. So you're putting him under that much more pressure to get stuff done. You're not using the run first to set up the pads, no play action, none of that type stuff.
You're trying to get him to win a game with his arm. It's just not going to happen like that for him. There's a lot less pressure in these other places to get it done because they were allowed to run again. We talked about Washington, Daniel's, they were allowing that running game with Robertson and Eckerd to get, you know, to carry them through and him, him as well, which opens up the run for him and the past for him.
If you don't have a steady balance attack, you're not going to get anything done. And that's kind of what Washington's going to do. What's the lead to coach? This is going to be the most important coaching hires Chicago has ever had because of the potential that they did, they have in Kaller Williams and blowing this pick.
I was, I was hoping we finished before Nick came on, because he's going to kill it. What you got, Nick? I'm a, I'm a caveat. All this is, I'm just coming back.
I was kicking it with two baby mamas. I was at the bar. You know what I'm saying? So everything in this show is going to be caveat with, I'm soft stuff right.
However, I'm still mild man or Nick. So this year we're Kaller, I'm blaming all on the coaches because everybody's doing that, right? So everybody's saying it's the coaches fault. Yeah.
I'm excusing this just like how we excused Trevor Lawrence first year with Urban Minor, like I'm excusing this. So I'm not going to judge him as harshly as one normally would based off the high, right? However, moving forward with the next head coach, because I'm, I'm, if they keep Matt, what's the name? He was flus, whatever the fuck his name is.
If they keep him next year, that'll be insane. However, I'm expecting them to get a new hook. Hey, coach. And I would judge Caleb based off of that.
But I will say Caleb isn't as ready as we thought he was. We looked at Bo Nix. We looked at Drake May, granted, you could say, Oh, Sean Paton's coaching the Denver Broncos. He's a better offensive coordinator than that.
He was, however, dropped male. I don't think nobody came into this season saying like, Oh, he couldn't be a better coach than he was. He'll say, we know what he was going to be. But he would like, Frank May, he make a drink, may look way better than the J, than, um, Williams.
Yeah. All I'm going to say is this next head coach, I'm not taking any training wheels off with it with Caleb Williams criticism. Like you're the number one overall, I think people ain't been talking about Caleb Williams all year. And this was this nigga, this was the nigga, this is what I'm talking about a champ the motherfucker who was talking about Caleb Williams the most.
He's the one that was saying like, this is a generational talent. Again, I always sell y'all since the trouble on shit. I was like, bro, we got to chill out the generation of talents. Cause until they play in the league, we all know who the fuck they going to be.
You have to give him another year of grace next year. Cause it's going to be the first year in the world. I ain't doing that. Blue.
I don't know. I'm not doing that because you know, I'm doing that because you know, I'm doing that because it depends on your feet. I hear it. FIFA, who did you have going to the playoffs this year?
Oh, I had them as a 13. Okay. So you, but you know, Matt, even if it was going to be the head coach of this year, right? I thought that K loves time, I could overcome.
Exactly. No, this is about Caleb. This ain't a guy shouldn't do it. The head coach, so when I'm saying it, everybody knew Matt, even if it was shitball last year, going into this year.
So when they talk about Matt, he was and the whole coach of staff, all this shit, I don't grant it again. I'm my man in it. I'm saying that. Okay.
If you want to play in the head coach, let's play in the head coach. Nick, but moving forward, Ken, I'm not doing that shit because like, because if you are telling me that this is the reason why he's bad, the next head coach should be good. I will say I don't think people knew Nick, Nick, whatever his name is, not Nick, whatever his name is, he, but he, but he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he was, he, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was bad, because all of the blame was put on Justin Fields. He wants seven games with fields though.
I understand. And this is a season not over yet. This is what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying to Ken.
I'm not judging this season. I don't give a fuck what happens. They can go for in whatever they can win. They can win no more games this year.
And I'm saying, okay, this is on the A coach. Yeah. That's right. By selling me.
Right. Well, next year, next year, we can't do that. Yeah. I think Caleb Williams exposed the coach more than because he doesn't have the excuse left, but I'm going to be honest, man.
I, as much as I like Caleb Williams, he was overrated. He was overhiked. I was just no way around it. I try to say that.
I try to say that going into the thing, but I was trying to tell me the other thing. I was like, bro, this nigga, look for his last year in college, I was like, bro, this ain't looking as good as y'all say it is without a fuck. This was challenging. I was like, okay, but then happen.
And then we see this season. And it's, and ever since that Washington game, bro, he has a scored over 28 points. Hey, she has in the last three games, show me. That's rough.
Come on, bro. You tell him this is a generational talent. He hasn't done that shit. You can't, that's why I'm like, okay, it has to be coach.
Cause y'all told me this was the generational talent. So it has to be coach. That's right. But you know what else?
You know what else to look at to Nick is teammates really. It don't seem like we talk about DJ more. DJ more. DJ more.
Fuck with him. DJ more was early light. Look, we shouldn't really get rid of Justin Fields. I got to go report with him.
He got me probably my best career year. They got rid of Justin. Again, I'm not upset with them getting rid of Justin for Caleb. Because again, you reset the clock on when you have to pay a quarter.
But with Caleb, what are you looking? I'm sorry. It just, it just, I didn't expect the Patriots to win 19 to three. He, I didn't expect them not to get a touchdown in three games.
The thing is like, I don't think bonus looking. I think he's looking like a rookie. I don't think we expected him to look like a rookie. That's why I say he was overhyped and overrated or whatever.
We want to use coming in because we expected him to at least be on the level of Jaden Daniels. The question I have to ask myself is if we, and I know we do this a lot, but it's, it's, it's what we do, right? If we flip them, we have the same results. If Caleb was in Washington, we'll never know.
But it's something we have to ask going into the season. Can everybody on a mama say, bro, this the best situation any quarter. I said going in from a personal expectation. Right.
Ted Williams made his college chops under what coach? Oh, that's a problem. Look around. Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter. We have to, we have to judge. I'm gonna tell you, regardless of there was, there were expectations coming to the season, their expectations coming to college. We are for six.
What are they? What's their record? We're 10 weeks, 10 weeks into the NFL season. So now we have to judge and grade this guy based on what he's done.
Because now we have enough data. We have enough games to say that he wasn't what we thought he was going. He was going to be. And to the guy's point about Peyton Manning, yeah, Peyton Manning got a lot of height and he came to the league at 100 interceptions.
So, and there were a lot of conversations about how as, well, if I can remember correctly, yeah, he didn't look like he was the guy, but he got better. So what are you going to say, Spark? And then we'll move to the next. I say it real quick.
So we can move on because I don't know what to move it on. Um, a lot of Caleb's game is due to him improvising. During the beginning of the season, he had more confidence and you could tell in the offense and Matt even if he was seen to FIFA was born earlier after that held Mary in the last couple of games after that, he's lost all confidence in this team and the offense and the people around him. Part of that is due to Caleb, a lot of that has to do with coaching.
He's was going back to what made him successful his whole life. And that's been an improvising. That his whole time at USC and people said that's what was going to work in the NFL. But now since he's got a shithead coach, they don't know how to win football games or call plays.
He's going back to doing that. And that's why he looks so bad. I don't think both next or drink make look any better than he does. Jay Dang is the only one that's always he was ready for the NFL.
Those other two are just in better organizations. She'd be bent real quick. She'd be bent. No, he should.
No, he should. I disagree with that. He's going to have to learn from his mistakes. But again, next year, the way I'm calculating next year, something I'm watching.
Because y'all make a sit on all this shit about the coach. I met you guys with her years though, man. Then you I'm I'm I'm sure I pick up the show. Make it say it's like off this year.
Hey, Trump in office, the rules are changed. All I'm saying is that if the bears hire O.C. which they're more like me going to do, we got to judge them off of that. Because at this point, bro, y'all wouldn't give a lot of QBs this much leeway off of their second head coach.
I'm going to show you think that he should be bench in favor of some guy that we don't we've never heard of. I know he played last year, but I'm just saying. Yeah, I mean, when I say bench, I don't like I said, I don't mean business. And what I did it.
I did it. I'm not playing. I'm explain what what bitch means to some people, bitch means like you ain't getting back in it. Bitch actually means you need to sit and watch.
And that's what some people need. If you look at it at the career tear branch, which I went around to see a lot of that. But I went back to his research. He was best a couple times.
And that was that they said it was beneficial to his career and it helped him to get where he was. It's just my fault. It's just my fault. I was just saying.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. When you can sit and learn something, then you're right. But he played for Chuck Knoll.
Chuck Knoll is one of the best coaches in NFL history. If Caleb's going to be watching powers of shit from the sideline, he refuses offense. It ain't nothing he can learn from this. Get the coach out of there.
Let's get the new store rolling. That's exactly exactly. I want to see Caleb with a better head coach. Oc preferably because if he's shitball with that coach, don't don't tell me nothing.
I'm how I like this. I feel like I feel like the Oc you know, I'm bad with names, but the Oc for the lions. He came back because he felt that there is something special with the lions. And I don't disagree with his decision.
But I think it's in his best interest to take that bear's job next season for a couple of reasons. Okay. Well, we need to talk about some real coaches and some guys playing right. Playing better.
So the Pittsburgh Steelers escape with a 2827 win on the road against the Washington commanders. Again, we're 10 weeks in now we got games. We got we got data as Russell Wilson made the Steelers of the Independence were both in what in the hell is this Nick? Superbocatint a row.
He's going to ask. I'm at a way we can say it about Mike Tomlin. That's what he wanted to do. No, this is this is a this is a prop for Mike Tomlin to be praised.
Y'all go ahead and say it. They are what they record seven and four. Yes, Nick. Yes, Nick.
I'm not a question. They are both. I don't I don't I don't see. Yeah.
Of course now Kansas City is undefeated. And we all know that. But everyone of those games Kansas City could have easily lost this year. If you look back at their record and the games that they played each one of those games the other team was in the game.
There was no blowouts in these in these wins. And we've seen that story before this Pittsburgh defense is not a joke. Now that you have Mike Williams there, you got your guys playing well. They figured out how to use pickers in a lot of pickings.
It seems like they got a shot. You're running the ball. Not your hair is just trying to get you. They did not as extension, but he running like you got something to prove.
You got Warren to change the pace back who I've always liked. Man, that team got a shot, man. I don't see I will see how you could not give them a shot. But contender.
Oh, yeah, like they have they have a legit shop of potentially winning this over the book. Absolutely. They're going to run just like anybody else. I mean, like I said, you look at the teams that stand in their way.
They got opportunity this game right here. This next game that they'll be playing in against the Baltimore Ravens is going to speak volumes because if anybody should be a favorite, it could be there. And if they can be Baltimore, they can definitely be anybody else in his league. So yeah, they can go on a run just like anybody else came.
Why not? I'm saying this show with money on the line. If you had $100 to put on line. I ain't betting on them.
No, I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. If you got $100 on the line, $100 ain't shit these days. That's like $20.
You got $100. And as soon as I'm playing the Chiefs, put a play off. Who are you betting on? What kind of question is it?
That's the question, man. Like I said, I'm not a question on the game. No, no, no, no, no, that's what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, it's a tough question.
Meaning like he said, then the one we're talking about. He's a narrative. Well, what's going on? I bet.
No, he changed it. Yeah, he changed it. Right? Because he said you asked if they were contenders, if I thought that they could do it.
The question is something are the same as the tournament Super Bowl contenders. So we don't know. We don't know. We don't know yet.
And the reason the main reason that we don't know is because the answers know what they have to do is to get the vision game. You have to play the division game. People, you know, people may say, you know, they still got to play Joe burrow and beat him twice. And they still got to go beat them on Jackson twice before we can even know if they're good or not.
And that's going to depend on where they place in the playoffs and regardless. They still got to go. They don't know. They seven and two or whatever.
They haven't played any games yet. They got dangerous. That's what they tell me. Look, people who see that live.
You see my time to talk to them in the press conference. They beat Boston. I still like this is big man. Prime years.
They got to play Baltimore and Cincinnati. They got to be both of them. I want you to play Baltimore and Cincinnati. Then we can tell if they are in true contention or not.
I think the Steelers are always a dangerous team regardless of they have Russell Wilson or not because of Mike. No, no, no, I said a few was people. I'm not right. Because we think Tom, we say Tom with that defense for the last 10 years.
I know. Exactly. And that's why I said that they're dangerous because depending on a match up, they could go in and win a playoff game or two. You know, that's just how the organization is.
I'm just taking the history of the Pittsburgh Steelers, bro. And this defense is legit. Now you add more weapons. I know that George Pickers has been on the up and up.
I agree with you. Shelton Najee looks like he's running with a different purpose. You know, say maybe them not picking up the extension was a slap in the face and the motivation he needed to up his game. But at the end of the day, we knew that Justin Fields and or Russell Wilson was going to be over a penny pick.
We knew that. So if this team which has been upgraded since at them near every position, either by, you know, upgrading by switching out a player or that player just playing better, yeah, they are dangerous, but I would not say that they are suitable contenders. I also agree with what you're saying. If I'm not willing to put my money where my mouth is, then they definitely not contender.
Like I'm willing to put $100 on Baltimore. I'm willing to put $100 on cheese. You know what I'm saying? Like there's a handful of things I'm willing to put $100 and you know, if I lose, I lose, but I'm confident putting that money in.
There's no way I have put $100 and say that the Pittsburgh Steelers are a Super Bowl contender. I don't believe in them that far. I think your mind could change in three weeks after you've seen it. It's my strength.
What if they need to? It could change Sunday. If they be Baltimore Sunday, there's no way you can't say this is both. Cause it's wide open this year.
So it's wide open this year. If the rate is smack them, but if the rate is smack them, then that just takes them out of Super Bowl. Because you know what that means is they're going to have to go on the road and like if the Ravens smack them and win that division, that means at least what the Steelers will be is six or fifth seeds. And if they're the six seed, they're probably going to have to go to Buffalo first round.
I'm not taking them over Buffalo first round. If they're the fifth seed, they probably have to go to Houston first round. They can win that game, but then after they'd be using it, probably going to have to play Kansas City in Kansas City. And I ain't taking them in Kansas City.
So yeah, a lot of determinants on this weekend, if they beat Baltimore and can win that division and can lock up the three seed and the six seed got to come to them in the playoffs, I'll take Pittsburgh at home against whoever the fifth of the six seed is in the AFC. I want to hear what Ken got to say. Ken, Ken, the one that's plugged in with the Steelers and another mother. Ken, what you got to say with Fly got to say my shit.
Well, I got some shit to say. I know I was over there Saturday, but it was a birthday party. So I was in the Steelers room that he had, you know, what he watched all the Steelers game, but we didn't talk about the Steelers. He was celebrating.
So I don't have any insight into how they're feeling, you know, as from a Pittsburgh fan. But you know, one yourself. You know, you're cute. You know, cute, cute.
You ain't a fan of black coaches. You ain't a fan of Steelers. You're a fan of mine. What my my evaluation is this.
I need to see Russ play on this team for a couple of more weeks before I can render a verdict. I think he's played in what two three games. I think we saw what he's able to do versus what feels wasn't able to do. And it was the game through.
It was the game. It was to go ahead and touch now feels it feels cannot throw that football. It's just it's impossible because he would be able to read and process the defense that fast and that's based off experience. Russ saw it.
So he has the experience that field doesn't have. But it worked. So he's come in. They look different.
I think there's a comfort level that they have with the offense. I thought you got to play better. But you know, that defense did a couple of things that kept them in the game. And then after he was with this track of distance for Russ to go ahead and take it and close it out and the still and the stills defense they what they needed to do to to seal the deal.
This was a legit win against the Washington commanders. So we can't poo poo because Jaylen Daddie's been lighting up everybody and they went in there and they won the game. But I'm with Spike. I need to see these division match up.
They haven't played one. So I'll say this. First of all, let's get flowers tonight. You know what I'm saying?
He's a blackhead coach. It's coming from you. It's a lot of people. It's a lot of people.
I'm talking about Delo Delo. Hey, people, hey, I'm saw stuff again. I told you I was with a couple of babies. I had a good time.
So you know what I'm saying? I'm feeling good. So I'm really, you know what I'm saying? We're doing the election ain't go the way I wanted to.
So I'm trying to spread love to the people that I got. I'll say this. Mike Tomlin was right about Russell Wilson so far this season. And he's more than likely again going to win 10 plus games.
He even I would say Mike Tomlin is a better version of once a day Marvin Lewis when it comes to rehabilitating players because he got Russ coming back. He got Justin Fields on the right track. He got Mike Williams on the right track. I can do it with Mike Vic.
Yeah, exactly. I'll give him that. However, like I can say we have seen none of these division A and we know by the AFC North that's part of the tough as a video you won't get to outside of maybe the NFC West. People want to ask you a question, but what was the last time Mike Tomlin won a playoff game?
You know what I'm saying? Let's get the time frame before we start giving his roses and flowers and bouquets. You know what you know what you know the last time Mike Tomlin has won a playoff game since season one of insecure. Of insecure.
You know, you know how long the interior comparing Tomlin to Mount Morbon Lewis is grossly discussed. No, I'm just saying it's really weird. Really? Really?
No, I'm saying rehabilitating the players. You know what I'm saying? There's an answer to that. You was already in the chat telling these stats and all this stuff.
So I shout out to you. He's of course, he's a friend of the show. You know what's even crazier? Zach Taylor and Mike Tomlin, the same amount of playoff.
Can I say? Can I say this? Zach Taylor and Mike Tomlin have the same amount of playoff wins since 2014. I was like, what was the last time your kid was born?
What was the last time your kid was born? I was like, how was he? Did you have any kids in 2014? I just want to know.
You can make stats, say whatever you want them to say. I'm not saying stats. I'm saying the truth. That's so much.
I bring this under the umbrella of as much as we love to talk about Mike Tomlin during the regular season, we got to talk about the postseason because that's where legends are made, right? That's where Patty made his resume. That's where Andy Reid is now looked at as the second best coach of all time. If not the best coach of all time.
That's where Bella Check made his bones. That's where all of the niggas, a lot of niggas make their bones. I was like, I was quiet. I was quiet.
I was like, we were starting to book and some of the stuff he said, hold on. Because all of them other coaches that you name, who was their quarterback? I don't even name one coach. No, you just named him.
You just named him another guy. Zach Taylor too. Yeah, I just named that. Andy Reid.
Andy Reid, you just read it off about three or four guys that you're talking about playoff success. Andy Reid, another one. All of those guys, Nick, have had franchise quarterbacks at the helm. Since when did Bay Rocklesburg retired Nick since you want to get into years and all of that?
Probably about 2018, 2019 was something like that. Hey, Google, when did Ben Rocklesburg ever come? All I was saying, all I was saying was Big Ben in his prime during my time was there? 2022.
So Big Ben wasn't in his prime during my time was there? No, no, he was. But he caught him a little. Exactly.
But how long was Ben still a quarterback and nowhere near his prime? He was down there last three years. How was he the last three years? So if he retired in 2022, that means since about 2018, 2019, he's been a shell of himself.
Right? And he still had a winning record. He still made it to the playoffs. So all of those other, wait a long, Nick, because all of those other guys you read it all had prime franchise quarterbacks.
We talked about Donovan McMahon. We talked about Tom Brady. And before Tom Brady, that was you, brother. So what's the game?
You're saying Donovan McMahon and Juba. He's talking about Donovan McMahon and Juba. He's talking about Donovan and I have a Juba lead. So when we have a little quarterback, they are a big.
They are a big. They were better with Pittsburgh. Hey, they were better with you. Thank you.
That's not what I'm talking about. That's not what I'm talking about. What is he talking about then? I'm talking about Big Ben's prime years.
What else do we have to do? He got to win a Super Bowl with Bill Robinson. What else do we have to do? He got to win a Super Bowl victory.
What was the last time Mike Towner went to the Super Bowl? He won. I tell you that. How many he hasn't won?
That's not close. You're broke. Got this? I'm not bringing that up to talk about the success of the Super Bowl wins.
I'm just talking about the success of the Super Bowl wins. I'm talking about playoff wins. When I bring up all this, when I bring up all this, it's like we can go up. No, no, no.
I'm bringing this in the context of we can talk about Mike Towner in a regular season. I just told you about a post season. What you going to do there? What was that?
2016, bro. You know, where was you at 2016? Because I wasn't on that in sports. I wasn't on that in sports.
I wasn't on that in sports. I wasn't on that in sports. I can't expect a Cincinnati. They're going to come anywhere near this.
I tell you what, Mike Towner is number eight all time in wins. I always see it. Mike Towner got a Super Bowl ring. There's nothing to compete with.
Talk about the drought that you're talking about. He ain't had a quarterback in forever. Now they've given him a shade of Russell Wilson. He's just having to revive him.
And you want him to win a Super Bowl again? No, all I'm saying is, like I said in the chat, Mike Towner talking cash shit this year. You see how you got the potentials to do so. You see how he is in the press conferences and all that?
All I'm saying is like for all the hate that Mike McCarthy gets, for all the, I guess indifference that Shama Vegas, we all look at Mike Towner the same way. Mike Towner is the most tenured, most successful head coach in the league. And when Bill Belichick was there, he was talking well other than Andy Reid. But Bill Belichick was there.
He was talking his shit. Andy Reid talks his shit. Mike Towner is there to be able to talk his shit. And if they don't make it past the wildcard this year, I'm bringing all this shit up.
We rolling the tape. We rolling the tape for all this season. That's all I'm saying. Because as a fan of the Bengals, of course I'm never going to rule for the Steelers.
I'm receiving. I don't know why y'all listening. You still playing with it? You still playing with it?
I respect Mike Towner as a head coach. He's a black man doing things that we have never seen probably a black man do in the NFL. But if I'm going to keep it a beam, we judge coaches off of wins and like, I'm going to do a bunch of coaches off of wins and losses, not only in a regular season but in a post season. If Zach Taylor has the same amount of wins and losses as Mike Towner in the post season, that's a problem.
But he don't get people already. Mike Towner does. He does. All right.
Moving on. You up, bro? I'm up. Mm hmm.
But this is my disrespect for the week. Can you already know what I'm going with this? Kickers. NFL kickers.
Mm hmm. There was a conversation this week about why the Hildibos Samuels was choking out the long snapper after cussing out the kicker. I'm going to say this. We as a program on this network alone talk about coaches, players and GMs.
However, we never gave up. We never talk really about kickers. Really, no, mostly his motherfuckers name. I despise.
I fucking despise how people talk about why teams lose based off the miss kick because mother fucks we always talk about the quarterbacks and everybody else but not the kickers. This motherfucker missed three kicks in and the thing that came and it was like, why is people choking off the damn plate like that's his own teammate? Why is he even going out? Fuck all that.
Fuck kickers. Point blank period. They need to be eliminated. Fuck.
Did they not change the rule for kicks? Just because they was like, this shit is irrelevant damn near. We haven't my fuckers started at the 30th. You only got to go to 70 yards to get a putty these day loop and these motherfuckers want to act like they all I'm saying is the disrespect goes to kickers and all the NFL.
We just literally watched the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions play Sunday night came down to a fucking field goal. After all that, I saw D'Amico Ryan's make a fourth and it was a fourth and four I believe and he chose to kick a 58 yard field goal. When we went to the announcers told me this is a missed a 50 something to the field goal earlier and hey thought he was going to make it blue and what happened. The motherfucker missed it.
Even the Detroit Lions, the kicker that made, he barely made that field goal. We could have been talking about overtime. What I want to do is the kickers are the most irrelevant part of NFL football. They damaged the eliminated even even going back to the college level.
We should judge teams based off the players that make the impact the most on the games. I don't even know this motherfucker name number four for 49. I don't even care to look. I could have researched it before.
I didn't care to research because this makes it irrelevant. I think he made the fourth field goal to win the game, but he missed the first three. I'm sorry, bro. NFL kickers are irrelevant to the game of football because they should not decide how football games are won because we know the gladiators, the real true competitors in these games are the players on the field, the 11 men on both sides of the offense and defense.
Who deserves this respect is kickers because they fall off a cliff. Even Justin Tucker. Lou, you already know I'm on fantasy. Right?
I'm battling my ass off every week. I got Justin Tucker on my damn team. This motherfucker fell off a cliff. He can't even make the damn chip shots these days.
