Should the Jets Be Talkin' Playoffs -- or the Offseason?

The Winnipeg Jets had one mission this weekend: collect four out of four possible points. It wasn’t pretty -- and for stretches it didn’t look promising -- but Winnipeg found a way, beating the Colorado Avalanche 3-1 on Saturday and the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Sunday. The Jets still sit five points out of a playoff spot, and while their slim hopes remain alive, the odds of postseason hockey returning to downtown Winnipeg continue to shrink. The show also got an interesting call from a fiery listener during Free-For-All Friday. Ron was frustrated that the program keeps discussing Winnipeg’s playoff chances instead of accepting that the season may already be over.
