Recently signed to an extension, Luis Castillo was brought into the Mariners organization to be the Ace of the pitching staff. He has most certainly showed that in his short tenure with Seattle. The current 5 game stretch he is on however, is not very ace like. He has actually been pretty abysmal by his standards. In game 2 against the Boston Red Sox, Castillo labored for 5 innings and gave up 7 runs, 5 of which were earned. When should the Mariners press the panic button on Luis Castillo?
