Should we be afraid of the Government?

I have heard of some people talking about the government having too much power. And they are afraid that we will be controlled. This is the land of the free, and freedom is our slogan. It would be hard to deviate from that. Right now, the government is telling us to stay at home and it makes sense. The corona virus crisis is real, and what is economy without people. We need to safe as many people as we can. We can come back from a recession but we cannot bring back the dead. I believe the government is genuinely good, but is never run as smoothly as it should be. But let us not give into conspericies. Love you all have a good day, good night!
