Should we keep Machakos Hills Jackson's and Xantholophus the same?

I have kept the Machakos Hills Jackson's Chameleon under identical conditions as the Yellow-crested Jackson's Chameleon (Trioceros jacksonii xantholophus) for multiple generation for both subspecies. But should they really be kept under the same conditions. Is it possible that I could do better for one or both? In this episode you can lsiten in as I challenge sonething I thought I knew.
