Andy & Brendan look at how one would coherently define modern society (with especial focus on the U.S., where they live) and what does that mean, in terms of net harm or net benefit? Are we living in a Matriarchy? If so, for how long? 1970s? 1990s? And is this novel or a reverse of the speculative global queering of the Agricultural age? Having achieved Gender Parity across positive and negative outcomes (pay gap, education gap, domestic violence) 30 or so years ago, we certainly have to ASK this question as often if not MORE often as the previous inquiry...
