Have you ever sought advice only for it to blow up in your face? When I was conflicted about getting married, I went to my single friends for advice. I know where that ended up. Even more recently  We wouldn’t go an electrician for medical advice but when it comes to relationships, we rush to our BFF’s whether they are qualified to give us advice or not. A Your Journey, Your Rules: At the end of the day, dating, especially post-divorce is a personal journey. Trusting yourself and learning from your own experiences can be more empowering and insightful than leaning heavily on external opinions. Yes, if you have a trusted friend who’s been where you are then sure but if not, lean into your intuition and enjoy the journey
