Do you want your parents life? If you do then take their advice. Do you want my life? If you do then take my advice. Always be nice to your parents. Be civil. Be mature.  Hold your ground RESPECTFULLY.  Don't be a brat and don't cave into their pressure. Master the art of communication early in life if you want your best life ever. Learn from my mistakes. Learn from other peoples mistakes. You were probably unplanned like most kids were and your parents didn't really understand how hard being a parent was. Be kind on them.  Live your path and have empathy for the pain your parents have because they will miss out on the freedom you are now creating for yourself.
