Should You Start Your Own Brokerage?

We noticed there are a lot of agents out there that aren't working in their clients best interest and don't comply by best practices to get a deal done - which ends up with them losing deals for their clients. Currently we both own sub brokerages under REMAX West, however we discuss the idea of growing our real estate businesses by leaving the big name brand brokerage behind. Big brokerages are like an incubator and you need to use them as a way to structure your business and grow your transactions before you jump off into your own thing.  Then we go on to talk about questionable home rental items in properties such as, hot water tanks and why we think you might as well buy it outright and/or you should be given that option when getting a new home...
