Should You Upload A YouTube Video if It’s Not an Original Idea?

Do you need to come up with completely original ideas in order to be successful on YouTube? A lot of people try to be original on YouTube. They want to be different. They want to stand out. So they agonize over coming up with brand new concepts and get held back by the idea that their ideas have been done before, so they can’t do them again. One of the biggest pieces of YouTube advice out there is that you have to be different in order to stand out in a crowded YouTube space… and I’m guilty of giving out that advice. So what do you do when you have a great idea, but you’re afraid someone else has already done it? What do you do when you have a great idea, but just as you’re sitting down to film it, someone else does it? Do you create it anyway? Do you upload it? The answer is yes.
