In this episode, I discuss the medicinal properties of Consumptionweed.... ever heard of this herb? It is an important one! Mustard is even more useful and really delicious. I give you one of my favorite fall soup recipes that uses squash or pumpkin, smoked sausage, greens, beans, onions, garlic, celery, peppers and green apple, etc. We also discuss wood carving, basketry, Civil War officers, bears, cold, foggy, rainy days, my grandfather and scoops.
