This week Aaron host three games between two teams themed around Authors. Returning champ Krissy is teamed up with MidnightSmoke, while published author Mike X Welch teams with Augie. Who is going to gain enough episode points to will today?Game 1 - Being Aaroned I have a list of five pairs of facts about authors, all you have to tell me is which one is true to get a point - HOWEVER - at least once during the game, BOTH will be true, this is called being Aaroned. If you successfully guess that you are being Aaroned, you get DOUBLE POINTS. The team/player with the most points at the end of the five pairs wins the game and earns one episode point.Game 2 - Pitch Me Baby One More Time I am fascinated by genre switching - for those who don't know, my first novel was a sci-fi thriller, my second is a fantasy/adventure, and my third will be a murder mystery. And they're all in the same series. Am I crazy? Yes. But I'm not going to stop. I wonder what other authors could do if they jumped ship, so I want each of our players to pitch me a novel written by an author who is not known for writing in that genre, and convince me that it'll not only work, but be a great book - best pitch wins two episode points for their team!Game 3 - SLANDERBULL In this legally distinct game from any other game you might have played, I'm going to read out a fact about an author with the salient detail left out. Each player will write a detail to fill in the fact, they will be mixed and shuffled with the correct detail, and I'll read them out. Players will then vote on which detail they think is correct. Players will get a point for every vote for their answer, but will get two points for voting for the correct answer.
