Show 62 - Broken Beyond All Recognition!
from The Kev and Nixxi Show Hosted by Kev & Nixxi
Show 62 began in spectacularly broken fashion. Nixxi had barely returned before the studio computer holding the music failed, leaving Kev with one Alex Gaudino CD and very little else to work with. I'm In Love was played, then played again in instrumental form while the pair filled time by listing increasingly rude alternatives for the word broken and blaming Nixxi's return for the disaster. Once the system recovered they finally got the programme moving properly with a mixture of new and familiar dance records, including DT8 Project, Unicorn Kid, Stromae, Faithless and Yolanda Be Cool. The night also gave Nixxi a chance to play V-Star's All Time Low in the Renegade and Nixxi Remix, the first released remix she had worked on, while iDrag Paper supplied the week's iPhone-game nonsense. SmeggHeads returned with Alex asking the questions and Nixxi won the week, continuing her early fightback in the running score. Later, the conversation somehow moved on to killer prawns, spiders, whether prawns could wear jeans and whether a spider and a prawn could be combined into a 'spider-prawn', before the final run of dance tracks took the show to eleven.
