The gospel we believe - the way that we define the gospel -  determines the type of Christian that we are and the type of disciples that we make. If we have a faulty or incomplete understanding of the gospel - if we fail to see that the gospel isn't just about conversion or forgiveness but about discipleship and the rule and reign of Jesus over every part of our lives - we won't live the kind of life that God desires.
