Show Me The Perks Podcast | Fat Farmers with Michael Williams

from Show Me The Perks: Business Growth, Leadership & Wealth · host Kim Bigg

In this episode of Show Me The Perks, we welcome Michael Williams, General Manager of the Fat Farmers Rural Health Initiative. Together they discuss the 2024 cropping season and its impact on farmers, how health and fitness can play a vital role in rural wellbeing, and Michael's recent 2,000km journey across South Australia in a Perks branded Ute. Fat Farmers is a grassroots movement that began in 2012 with three Yorke Peninsula farmers who decided to start working out together at their local gym. It has since evolved into a thriving well-being community, encompassing over 22 rural fitness groups across three states. Their mission is to inspire and encourage rural communities to improve their health and well-being through physical activity and is run entirely by volunteer coordinators. You won't want to miss Host Kim Bigg (Director, Accounting and Business Services) and Michael discuss all things farming and fitness in Episode 14 of Show Me The Perks.
