This month students from the Napa Valley College LGBT Studies Program took the helm in Studio A and shared their capstone project focused on supporting transgender people in transition. They talked about their project and interviewed a trans man who is one of their fellow students. He shared his personal story discovery and talked about some of the challenges he faced with during his transition. The LGBT Studies Program at Napa Valley College is one of only three like it in California. The program offers a certificate and a two-year degree in LGBT Studies.
