Show Notes – Feb. 27, 2022
In June Sonoma County voters will select the next County Sheriff. There are four candidates competing for the job and we’ve invited all four to be guests on our show over the next four months. This is your chance to get to know the candidates so you can make the best choice for who you think should lead the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. We will be asking each candidate about their background, qualifications, and experience that has prepared them for this huge leadership job. We will also ask them about their experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and why agencies in Sonoma County don’t have LGBT Liaison officers. The questions will include how the candidate feels about civilian oversight and the Sheriff’s Office history with use of force. Our first candidate, is Chief Kevin Burke.
