A cryptid-like creature with the traits of an ape has been showing up in Facebook feeds recently, and a Bigfoot sighting in SW Colorado has been going viral online. Shannon Parker scrambled to snap some photos of the beast while a man sitting next to her and her husband, Stetson, recorded a video of the figure as it crouched down amid the brush. It blended into its surroundings and when it crouched down, it looked as if it disappeared among the rocks and sagebrush. Skeptics speculate that the sighting could have been a well-conceived hoax by an expedition group, attempting to attract more publicity and tourists. Conversely, there is always room on the earthly stage for monsters to show themselves. They prey in the dark, they visit you while you're sleeping, and they pop up in the strangest of places.
