The White House has given the go-ahead for scientists to begin dimming the sun and brightening the clouds to fight "global warming." Once we decide to “solar geoengineer” the Earth - to spray highly reflective particles of a material, such as sulfur into the stratosphere to deflect sunlight and thereby decrease the temperature of the planet, then we will never see a blue sky again and the feeling of that sudden chill will haunt us into the future.
