Get on Stage with the intention of entertaining

Get on Stage with the intention of entertaining

Sometimes it can be hard to do but that is a huge part of calling yourself a performer. We have to show up for our audience and give them the performance that they showed up to see. Every performer needs a way to focus their mind before getting on stage, allowing them to separate whatever is happening in life from what they are doing on stage. Your job as a performer is to entertain and you cannot do that if you allow yourself to be distracted while on stage. There are many ways to focus however one of the best is to use meaningful music or lyrics to bring out your stage persona. Other ways include meditation, stretching/yoga, Warming up, praying, and even having a drink. Whatever you choose, remember that when you are on stage it should feel as if the world has frozen and nothing else matters except that moment.
