Jesus had come from a context of being baptized and confirmed as God's son, then going through the desert and the temptations, and then He came straight back to the temple. He approached and confronted first the religious elite, and challenged them by breaking their traditions to bring the Truth.  What is Jesus challenging in us in this season? We are not identified by the season and situations that we are living. We are identified as being found in Him.  Every part of us that is not aligned with Jesus needs to come into line with who He is. It's time to show your ID.
