AHHHH...APPRECIATION! The acknowledgment of true worth, true value, the power of His influence in our lives. We NEED to recognize the immeasurable worth of the Savior, and the power of His sacrifice for our souls. But how can we do this if we don't yet recognize the importance and true value of those who have befriended us? How can we say that we love God whom we have not seen, and not be grateful for those who have attempted to help us? What phonies we have become! We give to the poor (and that is good, we want to think well of ourselves); but we take for granted those who pray for us daily and sacrifice their time and energies on our behalf.  Deuteronomy 32:9-10KJV..For the Lord's portion is his people....he kept him as the apple of his eye. GOD CHERISHES US! He holds us dear..He takes good care of us and protects us. He is unwilling to do without a people of His own! When we show appreciation by giving praise to and thankgiving for those who bless our lives, we are giving God thanks. When we have done it to others, we have done it to Him. God wants a people devoted to Him! (Ephesians 5:27) HOLY COMMUNION
