At age 17, Henderson signed with the Ignite after graduating early from high school and became the youngest player in G League history. In his second season, he was selected as a captain of the G League Next Up Game. Henderson was drafted as the 3rd pick in the 2023 NBA draft by the Blazers.Henderson can jump high for an alley-oop. He can steal the ball and slam. He can make things happen on the court with his team. I wouldn’t want to be in his way while slamming. Henderson slams hard and can shoot 3 pointers. There’s nothing on the court he can’t do, He’s big and strong. So when you see Scoot Henderson, you know it’s showtime. Showtime Scoot Henderson. That’s what I call him. He’s very energetic. He can bounce the ball behind his back, do lay-ups, he can steal, he has the jump-shot, he can reverse, move around, lay a ball in, he can move fast, and make rebounds, Henderson doesn’t slow down.
