It is January the 30th, so we're at the end of January one more day and We had 35 days of a government shutdown so that Donald Trump could build the wall and Your thoughts go no, I'm just kidding I don't know man. It's it's crazy. I just thought it was crazy that I think it's crazy that that is a negotiation tactic that is legal For the president to use in the first place. You know like how is you know it doesn't affect it's and it's crazy because You know I mean 35 days without work or a paycheck is devastating for people Like absolutely devastating.
I know this this podcast is gonna come out not well after but you know after the shutdown has been over You know we weren't covering it while it was happening But it was 35 days of people not paying their mortgages not being able to go grocery shopping if they had some savings or whatever And they would make crazy Saturday night live did a great sketch about that governor I think he was a governor that said well they could go out and take a small loan like Yeah, I'm gonna go take a loan out while I don't have a job That's ridiculous You know you don't even give a shit about the people that are running the government itself and then the people that are at the highest parts or highest you know points of the government don't Aren't affected by the government shut down and are out of touch Yeah, the people like yeah because she had take like that's not saying like a long like let's take the streets kind of thing But you know you and I talked about this a long time. There needs to be a restructuring of the US government Yes, it is really kind of baffling to me that that is a negotiation tactic that is legal for the the president of the United States To do like just shut down like okay. Well, this is what I want. Oh, well, I don't think that's gonna fit in the budget That's not something that we're gonna give you okay cool How about I just put 800,000 people and then it went from 800,000 people to like then it spread to the Coast Guard Which to me was like National yeah like now you're putting government, you know national security at risk so you can improve national security Yeah, well not only that I mean like you're already working and now you're not it's this crazy It's it's crazy, you know, it's like part of me is like oh man, you know Donald Trump is crazy, but it's really just crazy How the government works in the sense that that is it's really one of those things It's really hard for me to just wrap my brain around like how the heck does it make sense that in order for me to get something I want as a president that it's legal for me to just shut down almost a million jobs if not Yeah, maybe it turned into but almost a million jobs and and then I don't know if you already said that you said that was it?
$11 million $11 billion billion we're lost and to billion will never be like recovered or recouped Because of that and you know in some ways you're like well, there's there's his his wall, you know, maybe we should just give it to him I you know I do feel like to a certain point. It's it's just Posturing, you know because they do say that all the Democrats wanted the wall when Obama was in office But I honestly don't remember hearing any of that doesn't mean that it wasn't happening, but I don't remember hearing any of that Yeah, I mean Yeah, you know, of course like with him doing it. There's a lot of Obama Like the any worship so all we had to do is they called it well I didn't deport them. I returned them and people were like, oh, he's just returning them.
Okay, you know Well, you know, there's also somebody that somebody that had the grandmother here yesterday no longer has the grammar here today Yeah, I mean like well the one thing that I think also kind of is maybe a little confusing about the whole thing is one What is it they say most of the immigration is people's visas expiring so people that are like here legally with a visa And then of course it is illegal to be here without the visa, but they're a visa expires and they just stay here You know what I mean? Yeah, so that's one thing. It's not necessarily a border issue and Then you know that guy what's that guy's name he gets on my nerves? The change my mind guy Crowder the only reason why he gets on my nerves is mostly he seems to really go out there and debate with people like you know 19 to 23 year old college kids about these things, but he was saying that Immigrants disproportionately commit more crimes, but I've heard statistics saying the opposite So what bothers me about this whole debate and argument is where you know, I mean you're gonna go you're gonna hear You know whether it's Republicans or whatever you want to say that oh they're doing a disproportionate disproportionately more And then other statistics saying no most immigrants aren't committing crimes.
It's not it's that's not the case So you know what what's the truth here? Right? To us I guess when they say that But what I'm assuming is they mean disproportionate to citizens. Yeah, but I've heard the exact opposite Yeah, I mean I once they stepped foot onto our soil.
They're automatically a criminal right so that's a non-violent crime Yeah, and like they were saying like I was listening yesterday something about some of the workers and you know Like the trumps this would take this like they take a photo of them and they make fake IDs for them now they're you know Not only are they like here illegally, but they're allowing somebody else to make them you know like further their criminal Yeah, they're background whatever you want. Yeah, you know Yeah, I do think that a lot of times people put more the one thing that kind of bothers me is when they say You know how much money is lost on immigrants that are here taking advantage of like healthcare and things like that and Honestly, it doesn't it doesn't bother me personally, you know, it's like look how many you know government officials are taking advantage of taxpayer Most money how many how much money is not going to our schools and health care system? How much is really being kind of thrown away rather than appropriated to the? The right causes or the right avenues Social Security and all that if a if a poor immigrant comes here and then when they say that They're not paying taxes.
I think people don't realize that yes There's a lot of immigrants that work under the books, but there's a lot of immigrants that have fake or you know When we say fake Social Security numbers, you can't have a fake Social Security number You could have a stolen Social Security number now by no means is that good to have a stolen Social Security number But if you have a stolen Social Security number, then you're actually paying taxes on the money that you're making But you're never gonna get any taxes back so in a way that works in the benefit of our government because they're gonna get a bunch of taxes and never have to those people are never gonna be filing tax returns at least I would imagine they're not maybe they do File tax returns under the fake name. I have no idea. I'm not a criminal. I don't do that I don't know but it's I think I think it's kind of like and yeah, I could be wrong on some of that I just know that you know some immigrants when I say some there's probably like a million because there's so many here already That are using Social Security numbers are their their wages are being taxed and it's it's going back into the system There you go.
Yeah, that's all I was trying. I was just trying to be that point. That's it And they contribute you know to like the Trump You see like you're legally or illegally they're just saying people out there in the streets and yelling out on my cake We see that there's been like all five of those videos in the pop up But you don't know those people like maybe they're here legally what business is it of yours? Well, yeah, though The one thing that bothers me about that is like when they say we speak English here I'm like you speak English here, but there's tons of people that speak English and Spanish there's people that speak Have you been to New York City?
There's so many languages in New York City. It's ridiculous. You know, this is the melton I was I was like yeah, yeah I mean, yeah, not only that you'll go to Chinatown and there'll be a bunch of obviously Chinese people Asian people speaking Chinese or a mandarin everything and then if you say something to them in Spanish They speak perfect Spanish a lot of them speak great Spanish and they'll speak English so a lot of times immigrants come here And they're you're multi-lingual You know I mean so I'm a young girl to know yeah Yeah, well now the government shutdown is over But they're already saying that it could happen again because he's still looking for his border wall money I Don't know a lot in a lot of ways. I don't have like a major opinion on whether he gets the border wall I'm not a fan of the guy.
I don't think he's good for the country You know, there's a there's a huge difference between being good for the country and good for the economy And I don't think both are the same, you know, you could be good for the economy, but bad for the country you know, and Any good for the economy is not always good for the people. Yeah, and I think that's the main thing that I'm I guess I'm concerned about I don't think he's I don't think he's good, but I think he he rides a wave of You know separating the country, you know being divisive and all that and that's what's his claim to fame is just being a divisive figure and Like the people you know immigrants and that you know, they're coming over in the thousands, you know to cross the border And you know his wall and everything is being built on and it's just like, you know, I think we were we talked about this In an episode that we didn't air but it was what was that what was that guy saying that as soon as Trump became president? He was the premise that everybody was so afraid to recruit every, you know, 20 something year old white male in America Richard Spencer And we're and he's just falling off the map like it even the young 20 something's that he could have recruited like this guy's a fucking nerd Like, you know, so he just kind of disappeared. Yes, you know He's built his campaign and you know with help from the liberal media on fear like that's all they want to do Is make you think that working for Satan Well, he's wanting to eat a little brown baby.
So I think it's more likely that Satan's working for Trump The most evil people Well, what I think also when you look at all this stuff like as far as um, you know the Miller Investigation and I think it was like 35 people have been indicted and now we got that Roger Stone indicted And he says I won't turn on the president which I think is gonna be interesting as far as what they have on him and If he does turn on him. They also say that his lawyer. I forgot his name had a recording of Donald Trump agreeing to You know have him lie It's either the FBI or Congress, you know purging himself and he's like yeah, go for it Which I mean, I don't I don't think they'll ever be a Impeachment of him, but if he's convicted of a crime it he has to be impeached, right? Like he does right.
Yeah, well, I mean a lot of people forget that uh Bill Clinton was impeached to yeah, which nothing ever really came to that Yeah, when he was impeached though didn't he finish out his term or he didn't even finish out his term. Well, he finishes Yeah, it was just nothing Yeah, it just kind of make him a lame duck, but it doesn't mean he's gonna go to jail doesn't mean that he's not the president, you know Yeah, well, I don't know what's gonna happen. It's interesting to see what's gonna happen with the investigation and everything like that I don't know it's crazy I do find it interesting that now that he has buckled with the border wall and he or the shutdown that like people like Ann Coulter and and Fox News is kind of I don't know it turned on him sounds like is the right word But I mean kind of like just you know started criticizing him ridiculously I heard a really interesting rumor that Kelly and Conway maybe maybe one of the people leaking Information yeah, man. I should so let me see here So there was a guy who is coming out with a book and He's like he worked on the in the Trump administration and he said I really need to man I need to find this clip because it was like out recently I just saw a clip of it But he said that he was using like her laptop and it was it was connected to her phone and he was using it for was he was writing out some You know memos defending some of the things that she may have said or some of the things that Trump has said Excuse me But meanwhile while he's doing that she's like texting out and sending out messages About that exact same thing so basically he was saying that she was leaking and I don't know if you know But like Kellyanne Conway's husband is like a Democrat who?
Disagrees with Donald Trump and everything and they're like oh maybe they're like working in cahoots Which would be surprising because she is like a fantastic liar Yeah, so it wouldn't be surprising to see her as like a double agent, you know, you know saying like it She's a fantastic. She's amazing liar. Why wouldn't she do that? That would be well I mean really think that Korea has stopped making nuclear arms or they told him something that It wouldn't stop making nuclear arms and that obama's Iran nuclear Iran deal was working and he put out some he said something like You know there there I don't know what's going on with the intelligence community Maybe they need to go back to school something stupid like that, right?

But you know we gave credit to Sohudo cuz I thought like man we're looking past him too fast. Yeah, I could do it You know like he the one and have says yeah, I think he did yeah I think in the end, you know, and I would say even me, you know Did I really believe I was rooting for Henry Sohudo did I really believe deep down that Henry Sohudo was gonna do it?
I think it was more to the effect of you know, I really I didn't I didn't know if he was gonna be able to do it I thought TJ does show is pretty big guy. He's coming down and all that good stuff But I think that in retrospect, I don't think people gave Henry Sohudo the credit in terms of who do you think moves better TJ Dilla Shaw or DJ Demetrius Johnson, right? Oh for sure. Right Demetrius Johnson who puts their MMA Together it's like TJ's a wrestler first and then became this, you know, really good striker But ever since he became a really good striker you almost only see striking and there's nothing wrong with that except that You know what made DJ Demetrius Johnson so great is his ability to you know flow from one discipline to the next his Transitions from you know boxing to kickboxing to wrestling to jujitsu and he would just seamlessly flow those into from one to the next I really didn't think he lost to Henry Sohudo, but Henry Sohudo definitely fought well against DJ And if you fought well against DJ he should pretty much fight very well against TJ Dilla Shaw and we saw that in a 32 second knockout 32 seconds Yeah Yeah, it's crazy.

I think it's good for him because it's a stand-up fight, but you know, I thought he looked good in the fight he had against uh Tony Ferguson just not as good as I expected him to I thought it was a great fight. Yeah, um But I do you know believe he got hurt somewhere in the middle of that fight So that kind of you could kind of tell in a way like just posture change or whatever But you know, I don't know if that would have made he just fought like an animal in that fight, you know Yeah, I'll be at a wounded animal, but he's still like an animal But you know Man that's gonna be good for the next show.
How did it turn out? Is that where ambulance or police involved? I hope no one gets hurt. I should put the mic up against it.

I know you have Yeah, you should check that out. I think it's gonna be a pretty interesting one because combat jujitsu is now jujitsu with striking Which sounds like mma, but it's not but it does it is but it's not Um, but what's happening is you're seeing a lot of mma guys have a really good time In combat jujitsu because they're used to it and uh these other guys, you know, they're they're they're not mma guys So Gary toning is a legit really high level jujitsu guy and uh, the heavyweight I'm curious to see how he does against, you know, probably one of the best black belt jujitsu heavyweights of all time Besides no gara and frank mire In my opinions, right? Who's who better? Um, I'll try to keep you posted on it, but I think it's like in the next couple weeks.
