Hola apasionados del taekwondo, ¿cómo están? Hoy hablaremos de una habilidad muy importante para el combate de taekwondo.Hablo de la habilidad de moverte.¿Todos tenemos esa habilidad no?Si, pero no al nivel de los competidores de élite. Si alguna vez has tenido un combate con un competidor de experiencia te darás cuenta que apenas ejecutas una técnica, él o ella ya no están ahí.Y es que la velocidad en el taekwondo es algo fundamental.No puedes destacar si no te mueves rápido.Las buenas noticias es que como todo en la vida, eso se entrena, se practica y se mejora. Y puedes ver cambios relativamente rápido.Necesitas desplazarte rápido por el área de combate, para atacar o para esquivar un ataque. ¿Y eso cómo se entrena? Pues haciendo desplazamientos.Revisa cualquier vídeo de competencia de taekwondo, casi siempre los competidores se desplazan con los pies separados. Pues es lo que tienes que hacer.Desplazarte. Lo puedes hacer en tu sala o en tu cuarto y puede resultar un entrenamiento de "cardio" bastante decente si no tienes tiempo de salir a correr. 20 o 30 minutos de desplazamientos.Si resulta demasiado sencillo para ti siempre podrás agregar combinaciones, dos adelante y dos atrás, dos adelante y uno atrás, agregar fintas, o hasta técnicas de patadas. La idea es que desplazarte para ti sea tan cómodo como caminar.También lo puedes hacer mientras saltas una cuerda, confieso que esa no es de mis máximas habilidades pero recuerdo mucho a un amigo competidor que se desplazaba utilizando la cuerda con la gracia de una bailarina. Y era un gran competidor.Recuerda entonces, tan importante como patear rápido es la habilidad de desplazarte rápido. Base para un buen competidor de taekwondo.
