Siaja’s Messy Road to Closure | Calgary News

Siaja’s back in Season 2 of North of North, still wrestling with life, motherhood, and tangled family drama — this time diving deeper into her quest for closure, facing messy emotions and a newly revealed older sister. Her mom, Neevee, starts to thaw after years of emotional armor, setting the stage for raw, heartfelt moments. Filmed again in Iqaluit with Inuit cast and crew at the helm, the show stays authentically grounded — even battling Arctic weather and sourcing traditional clothing from the community. Expect more humor, heart, and chaos than ever before, with new characters and deeper dives into Ice Cove’s vibrant community. Premiering September 1 on APTN, then CBC and Netflix later this fall, Season 2 promises to be the wild, wonderful ride fans have been waiting for.
