I feel connected with anyone who has lived through loss…. But some people are extra special, instant connections. Today’s guest on The Be Ruthless Show is not just a Faces of Grief Author. Dan Older is a man on a mission. He’s passionate. He wears his heart on his sleeve. And he puts his complete all into everything he does. Dan works as a professional portation provider for people with nonmedical needs. In this capacity, he ushers people to and from their appointments with compassion and grace. In his down time, he is part of a hot-air balloon crew and enjoys the unique hobby of ghost hunting with his wife and friends. In 2019, Dan's life changed when his only brother, Brad, died from a massive heart attack. Dan immediately started writing poetry to help process his thoughts and joined a support community that helped him see he wasn't alone.Five years into his healing journey, he now leads a “Write Your Soul" meeting that encourages others to express themselves through writing.
