Side Notes // I Might Have a Problem // God's Money, Our Problem?

from The Ridge Weekly Hosted by Chestnut Ridge Church

In this episode of Side Notes, Pastors Arch and Josh dive into one of the toughest conversations out there: money. Reflecting on Josh’s recent message from The Ridge’s series I Might Have a Problem, they unpack a simple but powerful truth—“Honor God with how you give, save, and live with His money.” Josh breaks down the message’s three biblical anchors (giving, saving, and living within our means), and together they clarify common misunderstandings—like why the Bible doesn’t actually say money is the root of all evil. Of course, it wouldn’t be Side Notes without some laughs along the way. From joking about Josh’s 19th wedding anniversary dinner plans to Arch roasting branded golf balls he couldn’t wait to “hit into the woods,” their banter sets the stage for an honest, insightful, and surprisingly fun conversation about finances, faith, and what really matters.
