Siege & Storm- Chapters 4-6

Thank you so much to Jaime for commissioning this episode! I keep being surprised by how quickly these books move along, and I'm really here for the whole coup that Sturmhond executes. It was a total shock how abruptly everything went left, and I'm even more shocked at the fact that, by the end of this section, we've not only escaped from the Darkling (for now) but also gotten the second amplifier! Well that was fast! But I will say that the one thing I'm super unhappy about is Mal. I don't know what his problem is, and I honestly don't really care. I thought he would be more supportive and it turns out that he's already kind of afraid of her, which like...really? Get over it, dude. Fuck.
