Sierra Goodman - Changemaker

from Everyday Connection · host Everyday Connection

Sierra has loved dolphins and whales her whole life, but after first swimming with wild dolphins for the first time in June of 1997, her life would never be the same. Sierra came home and created The Divine Dolphin and began to take people to swim with the dolphins and whales in Bimini, Bahamas and Silver Bank, Dominican Republic because she wanted to share this amazing experience with others. Sierra later was drawn to Costa Rica, and purchased 10 acres in Drake Bay, on the Osa Peninsula, where she built an eco lodge and founded The Vida Marina Foundation which conducted research on their tours for the eco lodge's guests. Today, working part time amid an assortment of wildlife, including her beloved dolphins and whales from her jungle home and part time from beautiful San Diego, California, Sierra contributes to books, articles, websites, and interviews on weight loss, the law of attraction and dolphins and whales. She is highly respected and inspires thousands with her wit and clarity. Sierra also facilitates spiritual trips to swim with wild dolphins and whales in the best places for close interactions on the planet: Bimini Bahamas, Silver Bank Dominican Republic and trips to Costa Rica which combine the incredible sea life and rainforest life. She is also currently working on a coffee table book, a DVD and other products featuring her amazing photos and videos of dolphins, whales and other nature beings. Sierra's photographs of dolphins, whales and rainforest life have been featured in countless magazines, books and other media around the world, including Japan, Italy, Costa Rica, Holland, Australia, Belgium, the United States and the United Kingdom. Sierra feels extremely blessed to live, work and play in an area so rich in natural beauty, and to be able to share this incredible experience with others. She swears she has the best job in the world.
