Episode 76 How do you even know your child is depressed when, by all accounts, they seem happy? Our topic for this segment is when your adult child receives a depression diagnosis and the parent/child dynamic. There has been greater understanding and a lot of retrospect that may be helpful for others. Changed the way we communicate and provide support. We should touch on helping children with vocabulary and the difficulty of getting help. Also, many people are dealing with this and trying to keep things "normal" to avoid negative stigma. Petrina Gooch is a wife, mom, HR Executive with more than 30 years of experience, and podcast host of "Do You Have A Couple Minutes," which provides daily talks that inspire thought, learning, growth, and life fulfillment.
