Sikh temple destroyed in major Adelaide fire

A Sikh temple in Virginia Forest, on the outskirts of Adelaide, was engulfed in flames overnight, requiring approximately 60 firefighters, many of them volunteers, several hours to bring the blaze under control. The temple, well known in the local community, provides hundreds of free meals daily to both the faithful and those in need, as well as running charitable programmes.
