A sign near a field of corn is what they seek but they will be changed by what they find there...*****Everyone's heard at least one piece of urban folklore - the sharp bend in the road, the things that hide in the endless cornfields, the haunted bridges, the phantom hitchhikers. The Haunted Roadside Diner is about when the urban legend becomes horribly and uncomfortably adjacent. When the audience of a good old spooky story realises that what was propping up the entertainment value is the cheery reassurance that it won't happen to them.It is a GM-less TTRPG for 2-5 players in which you play a group of urban legend enthusiasts driving along a desolate stretch of highway in search of some supernatural excitement or uncanny anomaly. Will it ends in a cautionary tale about hubris? A vignette about humanity's brush with the unknowable? It is up to you.
