But things quickly take a nasty turn when Rachel lures Gabe into a bedroom to make out, then screams for help. Alex and the rest of the kids come running, and Gabe is forced to flee. Now he realizes that he’s not only been tricked, but he’s let Ellie down and broken his oath to save Elfyth from the Grayman. Worse, he’s rocked by a vision of Goewyn paying in blood for his mistake.
