SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch | Bradley Cooper | Jennifer Lawrence

Michael and Brandon react to Silver Linings Playbook, the 2012 romantic comedy-drama that completely dominated pop culture with its raw, chaotic energy. The movie follows Pat Solitano, a man with bipolar disorder who is released from a psychiatric hospital and moves back in with his parents, determined to win back his unfaithful ex-wife. His plans take a sharp, unpredictable turn when he meets Tiffany Maxwell, a young, fiercely independent widow struggling with her own unresolved grief, who offers to help him reconnect with his ex—but only if he agrees to be her partner in an upcoming, high-stakes ballroom dancing competition. This acclaimed crowd-pleaser was written and directed by David O. Russell (American Hustle, The Fighter, Three Kings, Amsterdam, Joy) and stars a powerhouse ensemble cast led by Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, A Star Born, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Limitless, Wedding Crashers, Sniper) as Pat, alongside Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games, X-Men, Passengers, Don't Look Up, No Hard Feelings) in her career-defining, Oscar-winning role as Tiffany. The film features unforgettable supporting performances by screen legend Robert De Niro (Goodfellas, The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, Meet the Parents, The Irishman, Heat) as Pat's football-obsessed, superstitious father, Jacki Weaver (Bird Box, Yellowstone, Animal Kingdom, Stoker), Chris Tucker (Rush Hour, The Fifth Element, Friday, Money Talks), Anupam Kher (Hotel Mumbai, New Amsterdam, The Big Sick, Bend It Like Beckham), and Julia Stiles (The Bourne Identity, 10 Things I Hate About You, Save the Last Dance, Dexter).
