Silver Surfer: New Dawn Review
from The Comic Concierge
Dan discusses the first volume of Silver Surfer: New Dawn with Matthew Fridley from Cinema Geeks, exploring how the series draws inspiration from Doctor Who while charting its own course. They dig into Dan Slott and Mike Allred's approach to the character, the slow-burn pacing that pays off by the final story, and how the book uses humor, cosmic exploration, and intimate character moments to transcend typical superhero action. The conversation also touches on why community and shared fandom matter so much to enjoying comics.
