Simchat Torah 2023

Rabbi Gary leads Beth Ariel's Simchat Torah Service on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Restoration Church in Santa Clarita. Included is the Torah Service (ie. marching the Torah, reading the Torah). We also share a prayer for Israel, as it had just been attacked by Hamas terrorists earlier that morning.In addition to praying for the peace of Jerusalem, please pray these following prayers:Please pray for the thousands of Israeli citizens who are threatened by attacks and for those who are mourning the loss of loved ones.Please pray for the many followers of Yeshua the Messiah who live in the areas under attack. Please pray for the safety of hostages who have been abducted into Gaza and for the many wounded who are fighting for their lives.Please pray for the Israel Defense Forces and Police who are risking their own lives to save others and attempting to neutralize the terrorist threat.Please pray for the safety of the hundreds of Messianic Jews, men and women, who are serving in the IDF.Please pray for the government of Israel, the United States, and other leaders, for wisdom and courage to make the right decisions in this terrible and very complex situation.Please pray for the defeat and destruction of Hamas and its allies.Psalm 83:1-2, 17-18"O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still.
