Simmons Shines as Tigers Overcome Struggles | Missouri Tigers Football News

Missouri’s football team battled through a rocky start marked by two blocked field goals — one returned for a touchdown — putting them down seven early. Coach Drinkwitz acknowledged the special teams’ struggles but praised the team’s resilience on the road. Despite weak run blocking that stifled Jamal Roberts, quarterback Austin Simmons delivered a stellar performance, completing 19 of 29 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. The offensive line’s issues remain a major concern, but the Tigers’ ability to rally and win despite adversity signals promise for tough upcoming road games against Mississippi State, Florida, and Texas A&M. This gritty victory proves Missouri can adapt and find ways to win — even when things don’t go perfectly. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
